Our largest and most vibrant ministry at St. Germain is our women’s ministry- “Soulciety”.
You can find them every Wednesday gathering for a reflection, fellowship & a brown bag lunch.
They handle the administration of our Outreach Ministry- Soul Purpose as well as
chairing the Evangelism/Hospitality Committee. Our women’s group boast our Sr.
Warden and Jr. Warden as well as 2 other BC members and our treasurer! We are always
there to lend a hand to our Vicar.

In previous years, the women have hosted such community events as an Easter Egg
Hunt, BINGO, Memorial Day & Veteran’s Day programs, All Saints/Souls Day special
service, Blessing of the Animals, Holiday Bazaar, Sunday brunches, a Summer Fun
Festival, and our annual rummage sale.

This year we started hosting the Mason County Humane Society two days a month
with their Mobile Animal Surgical Hospital (MASH), in conjunction with that we
started a “St. Francis Paw Pantry” supplying free food, toys, blankets, and treats to
our four- legged friends in need.

We are a small church with a big heart, last year our Outreach Ministry-Soul
Purpose raised over $4,000 in funds and gave away over $4,100 to various
charities including Hood Canal Food Bank, Chaplains on the Harbor, Episcopal
Relief & Development, Mason County Humane Society, Quixote Communities
(tiny homes for homeless veterans), Community Lifeline (homeless shelter) and
our Soul Purpose Discretionary Fund.

In addition to these monetary donations, Soul Purpose collected and disbursed
over 800 lbs. of clothing & toiletries to Community Lifeline, over 300 lbs. of pet
food & supplies to Turning Pointe (domestic violence shelter), over 1,108 lbs. of
food to Hood Canal Food Bank, & over 100 lbs. of diapers, toiletries, blankets,
toys, & clothing to a family in need.
