The Bishop’s Committee is responsible for determining the policies and goals of the congregation and is to communicate with the congregation about the goals, concerns, and functioning of the Church by listening to our members and the community. Approval of budgets and plans Meetings are held monthly and all members are encouraged to attend. Anyone may ask any BC member to speak on their behalf and forms for requests are in the parish hall. Minutes are posted on the bulletin board, and minutes from past meetings and Annual Meetings are in notebooks located on the bookcase in the parish hall. Senior Warden: (Joanne Hash) The Senior Warden is the spokesperson for the Vicar, aids and supports the Vicar in all efforts for the spiritual welfare and growth of St. Germain. Charged with care of the holy vessels and all other property of the parish used in the service of the church. Endeavors to preserve order and decorum in the life of the parish. Conducts the monthly meetings. Junior Warden: (Joe Castonguay) coordinates the upkeep of the church facilities and grounds: maintenance, repairs, and cleaning. Coordinates volunteers for work parties. Committee Chairs: Evangelism: (Cyndy Reynolds) Works at welcoming visitors & provide means for familiarizing them into the life of the parish family. Plan events, advertising, opportunities for inviting new persons. Hospitality and Events: (Kim Elderkin and Sam Peters) Recruits volunteers for coffee hosts, greeters/ushers, readers, custodial and event planning and support. Stewardship: (Skip Hash) Responsible for planning the annual pledge drive, oversee capital campaign, year-round endowments, grants, planned giving, etc. Count Sunday offerings, inform members about stewardship opportunities within the parish. Supporting Members: Treasurer: (Donna Wessel) Receives, holds and disburses all monies in accordance with sound and proper financial and accounting practices. Presents a full written report at the annual meeting and makes reports to the Bishop’s Committee so we can make wise decisions about our resources. Provides an annual audit of all funds to the Diocese. Clerk: (Donna “Lu” O’Leary) Maintains the minutes, correspondence and records of all committee meetings and committee business. Supports all committees.
